History of VIGIL GAMES

Vigil Games was founded in 2005 by David Adams, Joe Madureira, Marvin Donald and Ryan Stefanelli.  These four intrepid individuals pursued a dream of making an original intellectual property for console systems with a completely new team on cutting edge technology.  In 2006, THQ Inc. acquired Vigil Games and enabled the dream to become reality through significant management and resource support.  Today, Vigil employs over 120 talented and dedicated developers making games across multiple genres and platforms.

Vigil Games strives to be a world-class game development studio that produces high-quality interactive entertainment for a global audience.  Our plan to accomplish this objective is simple.  We will build an organization that practices strong management and leadership skills to support talented groups of creative people building games through cooperation and teamwork.

Darksiders® :

Warhammer 40,000: Dark Millennium Online:

For decades gamers have faced off in epic Warhammer 40,000 battles on table tops around the globe. Vigil Games is honored to be the first team to bring the incredibly rich Warhammer 40,000 universe to the MMO genre. We'll be announcing more about the game in the months to come.
