Job Description:
Vigil Games is seeking a QA Tester to join our studio. This role is responsible for providing QA service to the development team throughout development of our current working titles. You will be required to effectively communicate defects to the development team and enter bugs into our bug tracking database. This role is a temporary position via a staffing firm, beginning at the rate of $10/hour depending on experience. We are expecting that the length of this contract will be at least 6 months.
Core Responsibilities

Testing products in development and executing test cases

Effectively communicate defects to the development team

Carefully and thoroughly document all software defects
Skills & Qualifications

1+ years of game testing experience on Xbox 360 or Playstation 3

Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Test Track Pro or Dev Track

Strong analytical, communication, and team skills

Ability to perform within strict schedules and deadlines

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Pluses
-
Passionate gamer with experience playing a wide range of games, including consoles and MMOs

Knowledge of Microsoft or Sony technical compliance testing
